Policy Flow

  1. Create new policy.  If you want to keep editing the policy, keep the approval required = No. The Policy status is Open.

  2. When you're done editing the policy, you can choose to Publish the policy or make it Approval Required = Yes and click on Submit for Approval. This will change the Policy Status = Submitted for Approval.

  3. We support 3 approval rules. See documentation for each rule here.

    1. When the approval process is rejected, the Policy Status will go to Re-Open and an email will be sent to the Primary Contact, Additional Contact, Owner with the reviewer's comments. User will update the policy and resubmit for approval again.

    2. When approval process is approved, the Policy Status will change to Active. This means the policy is published and a next review date is set. Note: User can change the next review date.
