When a policy is ready for approval, change the Approval Required to Yes.
Complete the Approval Process section to kick off the approval process.
Tip: We recommend you put in a Requestor Notes to tell the Reviewer what changed in the policy.
When you click Submit for Approval, the reviewer(s) will get a request to approve this policy. The email will look like this:
Reviewer will click on the link provided in the email or go to the Policy record to approve or reject.
If Reviewer rejects, please provide a comment why. Once it's submitted, the Policy status will go back to Re-Open and the Authors will get an email notification to edit the policy and resubmit for approval.
If Reviewer approves, then the system will send an email to the next reviewer until the approval rule is met. Once all reviewers approves, the Policy Status will change to Active. This will publish the policy.
