Please use the checklist below to guide you through the set-up process. Our team will also be there every step of the way to ensure your onboarding is smooth and that you have all the tools you need for success.

Below is a checklist of information, data and other items that we recommend you collect prior to or during the onboarding process. Data records and user information can be uploaded in bulk, or on an "as-needed" basis. We will show you how to upload this information yourself, or let us know if we can help...


Onboarding Checklist

A few suggestions to accelerate the onboarding process with C1 Risk


  • Provide C1Risk with a list of Admin Users for Account Registration. 

  • Admin Users are your main Policy, Risk and Compliance team who will have full access to the platform.

*Phone number is used for MFA purposes only. You may provide a generic phone number and instruct C1Risk to use email for MFA purposes.


  • Provide a list of Lite Users 

  • Lite Users are 'occasional' platform users. Your Lite Users are typically Policy Reviewers, Evidence Owners, Finding Owners, or employees who need to read an attest to policies or training.

*Phone number is used for MFA purposes only. You may provide a generic phone number and instruct C1Risk to use email for MFA purposes.


  • Data Uploads

  • C1Risk will provide training to show you how to upload data and/or help upload all provided data as part of the deployment process when provided in the C1Risk Template. Your account manager will provide you with the data upload templates during the onboarding process.


  • API Integration: 

  • Connect C1Risk with the appropriate person in your organization to establish API integrations per your contract.


  • Onboarding training: 

  • Your account manager will schedule time to onboard all users to the 1Risk Platform. Training will include the following:


Training Session 1: 30-60 minutes

  1. User onboarding Admin Users

  2. Lite User Addition and Registration

  3. Customer milestone identification

  4. Q&A


Training Session 2: Workflow Training

  1. Custom workflow training (based on customer use cases)

  2. Establish cadence for customer success check-in*


* As part of the C1Risk basic support offering, customers have access to specialists to help achieve their milestones on the 1Risk platform. Typically, customers meet monthly with Specialists, but we will work around your priorities and needs.
