How to Create Test Results from the Control Libraries

1.Click the GRC Library option in the left navigation menu.  Four options will appear below it-  obligations, obligation sections, control libraries, and crosswalks.  Select Control Libraries.

2. Go to the upper right corner of the screen and select the 3 dot menu.  You can select +Add New, which will create a new Control for the Control Library or you can select a control if you prefer to add a test result to a control that is already in the Control Library.

3. If you choose to create a new control in the Control Library, then you must populate the necessary fields.

The following information is required:

  1. Obligation

  2. Obligation Section

  3. Control Name

  4. Content Source

  5. Description

After you hit save, the control will have a unique control ID, which you can select so that you can add test results for the control.

4. If you choose to use an existing control,  or you go back to the control library after you have created a control for the control library, you will need to add internal controls, evidence, and test results to your control.  See the how to create Internal Controls, how to create evidence, and how to create test results training documents for further guidance, and then you can create a test result for the control in your control library and link it.
