How to Copy an existing Policy?
Copying a policy means you want to create a brand new policy without linking it to any previous policies. This feature is to provide a quick copy to create a new policy record. If you want to capture the revision history, see Revise Policy.
This option is available for policies that is in Active status.
When selected, the system will copy the below:
- Policy Name
- Content
- Primary Contacts
- Additional Contacts
- Approval Required
- Reviewer
- Related Internal Control
- Related Control Library
You will be taken to the add page to make edits. Notice you don't see any Previous History. When you're done, click Save to add this new policy.
Alert: If you don't click Save, this record is not added.
