This training manual will walk you through the step-by step process for participating in your company’s compliance program, from email notifications to uploading and collaborating on sharing information.
These are just a few very simple steps for you to take to help your company ensure it meets its compliance requirements.

Registration and Logging in to the C1Risk Platform
- You will receive an email from C1Risk Support/support@c1risk.com. Please bookmark C1Risk support so future notifications do not go to SPAM.
- The email provides you with two options for registration. Your compliance manager will inform you which is correct for you.
- Sign-in with Single Sign-on (1)
- Create your password for native login (2)
- Follow the instructions in the email to register your account.
Email Notifications from the C1Risk platform
Notifications will be sent by the Compliance Team from the C1Risk platform to invite you to provide evidence related to compliance requirements.
- You will receive an email notification from C1Risk support with the subject: New Document Request
- Open the email and click on the link to go to be taken to the relevant request in the platform.
How to Respond to Document Requests
The link in the email notification will take you to Document Request record. You may need to login first, but the link will still direct automatically to the record.
- In the Details section, read the Description (1) to understand what is being requested of you and the time period of the Evidence. (2)
- The data provided must be created within this time period. If there is not evidence created in this time period, go to STEP 3 below.
- If you are still unsure, go to the Attributes Section and click on Previous DR (3) to view evidence that was previously provided.
- In the Document Response Section, select “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether there is evidence available for the period of the request. (default is “Yes”) (4)
- Where “No” is selected, go to Attestation and check the box, then click submit. (7)
- Otherwise, where you have evidence to provide, choose one of the following:
- Add a URL link (5)
- OR drag and drop one or more documents in the Files section (6)
- In the Attestation section, check the attestation box then click Submit. (7)

How to Ask a question/make a comment to the Compliance Manager
If you need to communicate with the Compliance Manager, you can do this when you submit the evidence in the Comment Section of the record (1) or, prior to submission, you can add a comment in the Comment Tab (2).
Use the Comment Tab as a means of communication prior to submission (EG. For clarification about documents needed).
- To add a Comment in the Comment Tab (1), go to the Tab and click Add Comment (2)
- Click on @Mention (3) to select the recipient(s) of your comment.
- Note you can also create reference tags to relate the comment to an audit or category. (4)
- Add your comment and click Submit (5)
What to do if you Document Request Response is Rejected
You may receive a notification email that the documentation you provided has been rejected, subject line: [Document Request] Review is Rejected for DRI [123] (1)
The email notification will contain a comment that informs you ‘why’ the document was rejected and provide guidance on what to do. Make sure you read the comment! (2)
1. Click on the link to go back to the record. Follow the steps in Section 4 (above) to upload new evidence. Note your previous evidence will be visible but will be deleted when you re-submit. (3)
2. Document Request is Approved
If your evidence is deemed sufficient, you will receive notification that your Document Request is approved.
