MFA/2FA Using Authenticator App

All user must have 2-Factor Authentication to access C1Risk. When a new user is added, the initial 2FA method is email. However, user can choose to use a verification code via an authenticator app. 

C1Risk support any authenticator app that use Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTB) Protocol. See detail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-based_one-time_password for detail and list of app you can use. 

How to setup authenticator app?

1. Go to the profile menu and select your name to access your user profile page. 

2. In the profile detail page, click on Setup 2FA App. 

3. Once you click on Set 2FA App, you will get a QR code to scan. Follow the instructions to populate the verification code. 

Once your code is verified, you're all set to use your authenticator app for the verification code. 

What happens if I need to reset my authenticator app?
