How to Send a Risk Assessment

Assessment Templates 

C1Risk provides a library of different assessment templates for the customer to adopt. Alternatively, customers may build their own assessment templates and upload them to their platform. Types of Risk Assessment

The C1Risk Assessment Template library provides 2 types of Assessment. 

Business Impact Analysis (BIA)

The BIA is used for Impact Analysis on your Assets. Impact Analysis templates range from verifying CIA values (Confidentiality, Availability, Integrity) to understanding the type of data managed by the Asset, and/or how the Asset impacts the company from a financial, reputational, organizational, informational standpoint. 

Custom Assessment (Custom)

The Custom Assessment Template can be any other type of Assessment Template used for internal self-assessment, vendor onboarding or security Review.

Example:

How to Launch an Assessment from the Asset, Vendor or Engagement Record

1. Open the Asset, Vendor or Engagement Record that you wish to assess.
2. Go to the Assessment Tab
3. Use the Ellipsis drop down menu and select Add New

1. Name the Assessment so it is recognizable by the respondent.
2. Choose the Assessment Template
3. Schedule the due date
4. Choose the Primary Contact to respond and any additional contacts from the drop-down menus. All primary and additional respondents must be at a minimum General Users registered in C1Risk.  
5. Click SAVE to send the assessment. The respondents will now receive an email notification with a link to the log in and complete the assessment.
