Linking Vulnerability Data to Assets

Modified on Tue, 2 Apr at 3:54 PM

Creating links between your vulnerability data and C1Risk data is a key step to ensuring full integration and automation within the C1Risk platform.

Link to Assets: Link to multiple assets, such as groups of systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, etc.), departments (i.e., Infrastructure, Public Facing Systems, etc.), Processes (i.e., Human Resources, Tech Support, etc.), or other.

  1. Select your respective product’s assets in the navigation page. Nessus is used for this example:

  1. View and filter the list, as desired (“Windows” OS’ were used for this example)

  1. Select all Nessus Assets you would like to relate to a C1Risk Asset:

  1. Select the ellipses at the top right of the screen:

  1. Select ‘Lookup’

  1. Identify the type of C1Risk asset you would link to link to. Note: We’ll use ‘All Assets’ for this example, but you could narrow the list by selecting departments, Vendors, or any other assets your organization utilizes:

  1. Search for the C1Risk asset you would like to link the vulnerability assets to and click apply.

  1. Repeat this process until all vulnerability assets are linked to C1Risk assets.
