Vulnerability Management - Step 3 - Initial Data Import

Modified on Tue, 2 Apr at 3:45 PM

The C1Risk Platform will set up the API connection to your provider and initiate the first data request.

Notes

  • Depending on the amount of data, this may take several hours as some vendors may impose transfer speed restrictions.

  • After the initial import, data is refreshed daily at 8:00 pm UTC. You may request an off-batch updating by creating a ticket request or emailing support@c1risk.com or your Customer Success representative.

  • Once a successful connection has been established and verified, the ‘Vulnerability Management’ module will appear in your navigation pane:

Data Import Details

The data imported into C1Risk includes vulnerability data for Critical, High, Moderate, and Low vulnerabilities and does not include alerts or ‘informational only’ records.

Once data import is complete, C1Risk cross references the vulnerability data with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) National Vulnerability Database (NVD) to match and obtain related Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifiers and information.
