Vulnerability Management - Step 4 - Link Vulnerability Data

Modified on Tue, 2 Apr at 4:10 PM

A critical step in realizing the most value from your vulnerability data is to link it to your C1Risk data, including:

  1. Assets

  2. Vendors

  3. Risk Register

The C1Risk platform makes this easy by allowing you to perform linking operations in any way you choose, and in bulk, if desired.

View Your Dashboard

C1Risk automatically creates a Vulnerability Management Summary that provides key information:

  • Vulnerability severity counts by month

  • Vulnerability status (new, active, resurfaced)

  • Critical CVE’s

  • Performance metrics (new findings, closed findings, managed and unmanaged findings)

  • Related Risk Mitigation status

  • Top 10 vulnerable assets

View the dashboard by selecting ‘Summary’ from the Vulnerability Management navigation pane:

This summary can be adjusted using the built-in filter at the top of the page:

Determine Your Linkage Strategy

There are a number of ways to organize your vulnerabilities within the C1Risk platform. You may decide to select one or more methods, depending on your organizational strategy(ies). Review the links below for detailed isntructions.

  1. Link to Assets (including departments, system types, vendors, etc.)
  2. Link to Risk Register in Bulk
  3. Link to Risk Register and Issues Manually
