Creating an Assessment Campaign

Modified on Tue, 28 May at 6:22 PM

Creating an Assessment Campaign is an important feature of the C1Risk Platform! Campaigns allow for:

  • Quick and easy kick-off of assessments across all desired assets (whether it be business units, system units, or other)
  • Assess the progress of the campaign in real time (dashboards are updated as recipients complete their assessments)
  • Easily compare results across assets

Prerequisite: Create the Assessment Template

  1. Ensure that you have added an assessment template using the instructions, here: How to setup Assessment Templates : C1Risk Training Portal (freshdesk.com)
  2. Reach out to your customer success representative for assistance with creating a template from scratch!

Create the Assessment Campaign

1. Select the 'Risk Management module > Assessments Campaign

2. Select the elipses in the top right corner > Select 'Add New'

After selecting 'Add New', the following form will be presented:

3. Enter the form details:

1. Enter the name of the Assessment Campaign (this could be a unique name per type of assessment, i.e., Departmental Policy Assessment, System-Level Compliance Assessment, etc.)

2. Select the Assessment Template (you worked on this during the 'prerequisite step') to use for the campaign. Note that you can only select one assessment template. If you need to send multiple templates, you will need to create separate campaigns.

3. Select the Assets you would like to include in the assessment by selecting the '+' magnifier and filtering the resulting asset list until it meets your requirements.

4. Identify whether approval is required as part of the submission process. If you select 'Yes', you will be prompted to enter the Approver(s) and the rules for approval (in order, at least one, etc.)

5. Identify the frequency. If this is a one-time assessment, keep the frequency 'As Needed'. If you expect this same assessment to be initiated on a regular basis (such as quarterly, annually, etc.), then select the appropriate frequency from the dropdown.

6. Select the number of days you would like for the assessment to be completed in.

7. Select 'Yes' if you are ready to send the assessment on 'Save'. If you select 'No', you will be presented with a pop-up to select the date you wish the campaign to start (in the future).

8. Select the primary contact for the campaign. This is the person who is managing the overall campaign and NOT the primary contact associated with each asset.

9. Select any additional contacts (not required). These are individuals who you may like to share results with and/or who may provide additional support for campaign management.

10. Create any internal tags you may like to associate with the campaign (optional).

4. 'Save' the form!

If you elected to submit the campaign upon 'Save' in step 7, the primary contact for each assessment will be notified that they have a new assessment to complete. If not, the assessment will be sent on the requested date.

5. View Results

As recipients begin to complete assessments, results will begin to populate under the 'Summary' tab of the campaign:

This will allow the primary contact to actively monitor results and begin analysis.
