Release 3.9.0 brings significant enhancements to your risk and compliance workflows, including the launch of our dedicated RCSA and Risk Ledger entities, a streamlined file preview experience, advanced tag filtering capabilities, shared access in compliance management module to streamline contact management , and expanded access controls for general users.

1. Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) & Risk Ledger Entities

We are introducing the RCSA module, a comprehensive point-in-time risk evaluation tool for your selected assets

  • Hierarchical Structure: The RCSA serves as a parent container that aggregates multiple individual Risk Ledgers.

  • Automated Risk Scoring: Risk Ledgers automatically calculate Inherent Risk Scores based on impact and likelihood, and update Residual Risk Scores when you apply treatment strategies like Mitigate, Transfer, Avoid, or Accept.

  • Aggregated Metrics: The parent RCSA automatically rolls up these calculations to display the max, sum, and average risk scores across all ledgers.

  • Approvals & Export: RCSA records fully support formal approval workflows and can be exported to Excel to easily share reports with stakeholders or auditors

2. In-App Attachment Limit Preview

We have added attachment preview to allow users  previewing uploaded attachments directly within the application without needing to download them or open new browser tabs

  • Expanded Support: The preview capability supports various file types, including documents (PDFs, DOCX, etc.), images, audio, and video files.

  • Progressive Loading: A loading spinner will indicate when the preview is being generated in the backend

  • Secure & Efficient: This enhancement reduces context switching, improves collaboration, and keeps files secure within the application environment

3. Global Tag Filter Enhancement: "AND" Logic

We have upgraded the Global Tag Filter to support conditional "AND" logic, enabling more precise search results.

  • New Logic Options: Users can now toggle the operation between "Tag = Any values (OR)" and "Tag = All values (AND)".

  • Intersection Search: Selecting the new "AND" option allows you to narrow results to records matching all selected tag values simultaneously, refining your search rather than expanding it.

4. General User Permission Improvements

We have expanded permissions for general users to streamline their daily workflows and prevent operational roadblocks.

  • Expanded Evidence Capabilities: General Users can now view the Evidence entity directly from the navigation menu and subtabs, and they are permitted to create new Evidence records.

  • Document Request Reassignment: General Users who are assigned to a Document Request can now use the action menu to reassign the Primary Contact, Additional Contacts, or Record Viewers

5. Enhanced Compliance Management & Shared Access

Compliance management has been improved with a new "Shared Access" feature to streamline contact management.

  • Dynamic Access: A "Shared Access" toggle has been added to Internal Controls, Evidence, and Document Requests. When enabled, it grants view access to contacts associated with linked entities.

  • Visual Distinction: Contacts granted shared access appear as orange chips in the UI, while direct contacts remain gray, making it easy to identify permission sources.
